Access
Oishi Kogen can be reached by car in approximately 45 minutes from the Hanwa Expressway’s Arida Interchange or Arida-Minami Interchange. It can also be accessed from the direction of Kainan via mountain roads.
For visitors using public transportation, buses from JR Kainan Station can be used to reach the trailhead, followed by a hike toward the summit. Because Oishi Kogen is located in a mountainous area, road and weather conditions can change quickly. Visitors are advised to check conditions before traveling and to wear comfortable clothing and sturdy walking shoes.
